Hints for the proper keeping of Laboratory Records or Reports

image

I’m coming to the end of my current journal; looking for a start date, I found a page of Hints for the proper keeping of Laboratory Records or Reports. It smacks of Victorian rule keeping with all its “shoulds”.

The journal is a Black n’ Red Science Book circa 2001. I like that the deductions and laws derived from graphs is marked as “Very important” and underlined twice so that we realise it is very important.

It doesn’t tell us why we should do all the things it tells us to do. I wonder why this kind of thing is still being produced in the twenty first century? Answers in comments please! 🙂
