“B utterflies”, seen here unfinished, is a collage on whitewashed cardboard with 3D butterflies-with-a-difference. I used whatever was laying around to prop up the wings as the glue dried: pen lids, biro, scouring pad!

The butterflies came from a poster called “The Butterflies of Brighton and Hove” by Dan Danahar and Bob Foreman; both men are involved with Butterfly Conservation. The images in the collage came from various publicity material from Brighton Museum.
